Last week we made the mistake of going to Costco at 5pm on Saturday. Half of Provo was there, so it took twice as long as normal. The real problem is that they didn't have any 2% milk. There was a pallet full of it way up on a shelf, but not any accessible. And since there were a couple thousand people there all of the workers were at the cashiers. Ian was not happy that we had to get 1% milk, and was complaining about it for the rest of the day. He even said that he was going to switch the blue cap from the 2% milk we had to the 1% milk. So of course I suggested that after the 2% was empty, he could just pour the 1% in the old carton and nobody would know. He said that was a good idea, but did not actually do it. So as long as no one comes over to our house, things should be good. (Ian said that he would have to disguise or hide the 1% milk if any one came. Though I don't really know why they would be looking in our refrigerator...)
Ian's platelets are going back up now. On Monday they were 35 and on Thursday they were 49. When they get up to 75 he'll be able to go back on the Gleevec. The rest of his blood counts are getting better too, so though he is still anemic, he's not quite as anemic. We'll take it.
As far as dental school goes, Ian is 13th on the list for the University of Iowa and he is now an alternate for a program that Creighton does with the U of U.
I just had a brutal week at school, with another one next week, but after that, all I have is finals. And, both of the tests I had this week went really well. Though I can't take that much credit. The testing center really is the holiest place on campus. Next week I have a huge ICU test besides other things, so hopefully I get extra help on that one too.
We bought a car seat this week. We got it online so it hasn't come yet, but it's still exciting. I do wish that my Mom or Mother-in-law lived close enough that I could go baby shopping with them and not Ian. Last week we went to Babies R Us to look at car seats in person before we got one online. He told me he was just going to sit in the rocking chairs while I looked at the car seats. He didn't actually do that, but I should have let him, since we would have both been happier probably. So, next time I won't take Ian. He doesn't have opinions anyway. Even though he doesn't care what kind of bed the baby is sleeping in, he is getting really excited (for him anyway). He just looks at my stomach and grins, which must be a good sign.

I want to go baby shopping with you! I have a feeling that my Mom would love to go too. She is fun to look at little girl stuff with. I am sure you can imagine, she gets slightly more excited than Ian! Good luck the last few weeks of school.
