3 Months

It doesn't seem like K changed much from 2 months. She still seems just as small, though she hasn't been weighed. She still trys to sit up on her own, but can't quite manage it. Anyway, here are the pictures, since that's what everyone wants anyway.

... and then this happened. I did not touch her at all in between these two photos.

K is starting to show a little interest in toys. Not much, but when they light up and play music like this one does, she pays attention for a few seconds.

 We did have a traumatic incident the day before her 3 month birthday. Her fingernails were really long and scratchy, so we cut them... and her thumb. I was holding her hand still, and Ian was doing the cutting, and somehow the whole top of K's thumb got in the clippers and got cut. It was still connected on one side, but there was a pretty big flap (considering how small her thumb is).

Showing off her band-aid. (Apparently they don't make band-aids in the right size for tiny babies. We put a little one over the end and then wrapped a normal one around it to hold it on. The normal one stuck out quite a bit off her thumb.

It didn't seem to slow her down at all though, after the first 20 minutes. We put a mitt on her, so the band-aid would stay on better, so she couldn't grab with both hands, but that's all.
