Going for a ride in the stroller; as you can see, it's still a little big. (Though these are from the middle of July. She fits better now.)
I kept trying to straighten her out, but she always ended up like this.
K loves to stand up. She can support herself, she just needs help with balance. And don't worry, her legs are not deformed, her clothes are just really big, so it looks strange.
We went "hiking" at bridal veil falls. (It's a very flat, paved trail, and is pretty short, so isn't quite a real hike.) This time we just hooked her carseat into the stroller; it's a much better fit.
K's experience at bridal veil falls = sleep. I don't think she was awake even for a second the whole time we were there. So this was the best picture we could get of her and the falls.
After we were done with our hike, we headed up to Midway and Heber to look at some of the cool old buildings. It was time for her to eat, but she would not wake up. We ended up stripping her (which she usually hates) and holding her in front of the AC vent to wake her up, and it still took a good 10/15 minutes. Even then she fell asleep after only eating for a few minutes.
(In case anyone was concerned, this is in a parking lot. Ian was not driving and trying to wake her up at the same time.)
This isn't really an adventure, but it's so cute. Plus with her outfit, and her relaxed pose, she looks like she could be on vacation. She also stretches all the time. As soon as she wakes up, her arms go straight up. As soon as she is done eating, her arms are up again. So the second picture is a very common pose for her.
This was K's favorite pacifier: Ian's biceps. Now she is getting too smart, but when she was hungry, she would just suck and suck on his arm. It was so noisy, and so cute.
K's mini bath. We had been giving her baths in the kitchen sink, but one day we were in a hurry and didn't have time to clean out the sink, so we just did a quick one in this tub from the hospital. She seemed to like it a lot more. I'm not sure why, unless she feels more secure because its much smaller. Or maybe because its in the bathroom.
The bathroom is K's favorite room in the house. If she is crying, she will usually stop if we go in the bathroom. We're not sure if it's the bright lights (she usually does the same thing if we go outside too), the mirror, the fan, or a combination. Whatever it is, we like it. She will sit and look at her feet or something else for quite a while. This is definitely the easiest way for me to get ready in the morning.
More standing up.
K's first bottle! We're getting ready for me to go back to school, so we've been giving her bottles with pumped milk every once in a while. (Sorry for the red-eyes, I was too lazy to fix them.)
