1 Month

Well Baby Girl is a month old. It's been a long month and at the same time a very short month.
Here are comparison pictures.

K is still pretty small, but she is definitely growing. She hasn't had a doctors appointment in a few weeks, so we don't have any numbers, but some of her clothes aren't fitting as well.

 This is a preemie sized sleeping gown. The arms were never long enough to fold over the cuffs, but everything else fit her almost perfectly. But, a few nights ago we put her in this and it only went down to her knees.

Also, this Newborn sized outfit was the one she came home from the hospital in. (As you can see--this was before we left.) I put her in it again on Monday, and the sleeves were too short, and when she straightened out her legs, it pulled the neck down. However, pretty much everything she is wearing is
still newborn, and is also still a little bit too big. So she'll probably still be in newborn sizes for a while.

She has been sleeping pretty well for the most part. Over the 4th of July weekend she did terrible--she didn't want to sleep at all, day or night, but since then she's done awesome. We moved her to her crib over the weekend. The crib is definitely worth it. The first night she slept 6 hours straight. Then the next night she slept 5 hours straight and I only had to get up once. Last night was heaven--she slept straight from 11 to 7. 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep was amazing. (Though it wasn't quite uninterrupted--Ian wakes up at 5:30)

 This is her first time sleeping in the crib--she looks so tiny with all that room around her.

There isn't really too much else that she does. K does smile quite a bit when she is falling asleep and she smiles at Ian quite a bit as well. She smiles at him all the time when he is holding her, but she has only smiled once or twice when I've been holding her. So far we haven't gotten a smile on camera.
